AUDITED FOR DAIRY PRODUCTION
In addition to IFS, De Jong’s IJs is audited by COKZ, the Dutch authority responsible for companies working with raw dairy products. This independent supervision ensures that our handling of milk and dairy ingredients complies with all applicable laws and quality standards. This is an essential part of guaranteeing food safety and product integrity in our ice cream production.
FAIRTRADE & RESPONSIBLE SOURCING
We are Fairtrade certified, which enables us to produce ice cream using Fairtrade-certified ingredients. This means we can support responsible sourcing and fair trading conditions within our supply chain, when your product concept requires it. Fairtrade certification allows us to combine quality, taste and social responsibility in one product.
ORGANIC ICE CREAM PRODUCTION
De Jong’s IJs is also certified to produce organic ice cream under the supervision of SKAL, the official authority responsible for organic certification in the Netherlands. This allows us to develop and produce organic ice cream products that fully comply with European organic regulations, from ingredient sourcing to final production.
